I have done this a few times. Just copy the .nsf's and notes.ini to the /local/notesdata or wherever you installed the Domino data directories. It works nicely.

Just make sure you are the "notes" user(or whichever user you chose at install) when copying these files back into the data directory, otherwise you'll have a permissions issue. Or 'chown notes:notes -R *' in the /local/notesdata directory to set permissions correctly.
